Feel the damp on the walls
Feel it throb under sinue and bone of withered hand
Life hums, contained tightly in this place
A corridor, endless runs in both directions
Breath trembles as it reiterates
Up and down up and down the passage
My flesh is taught, aghast at its mortality
Scattered protein crunches underfoot
I am never alone in this place
Moonlight, scant, glitters stone
Scattered bone
Its source unknown, irrelevant
A breeze moves me and I am drunk
Like dry leaves in an autumn wind
Lashing a world, long forgotten
Falling sideways, I fly
Consumed by a void,
Darkness drowns me and my
Soul flies everlong into a growing mist, effervescent
